Ivan Makatura

An accomplished security manager, an open-minded cybersecurity evangelist, well versed in banking security. In the IT industry works since 1993. A presenter, author, and lecturer who is focused on information security governance, education and awareness, data privacy risk management, security metrics, conformity assessment, and auditing. National representative in the Governing Board of European Cybersecurity Competence Centre, and ENISA National Liaison Officer.
Judicial expert in the field of security and protection of information systems, licensed by Slovak Ministry of justice. Member of ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee, certified cybersecurity auditor, chairman of Association of Cybersecurity, and member of Management Board in Slovak chapter of ISACA.

He graduated in Applied Informatics from the Technical University of Košice. Later he completed a postgraduate degree in Judicial Expertise and Forensic engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Currently, he is working on his doctoral study at the Faculty of Management of Comenius University.
